Laishley Park Gazebo is Closed until further notice
All Parks are Closed until further notice
- Daily reservation bookings for pavilions, gazebos, open space, etc. are intended for private parties or gatherings which are neither advertised nor open to the general public
- Before making a reservation, please read and understand the rules and regulations listed below
- Reservations are accepted up to 1 year in advance
- It is recommended that you visit the park to make sure the pavilion, gazebo, open space, etc. and surrounding amenities will meet your needs
- Reservations are made in one-hour increments
- City parks are available for use from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset depending on location and/or event
- Reservation agreement and payment must be received at least 10 business days prior to the reservation date
- No refunds unless there is a catastrophic event
Rules and Regulations
The rules noted below are intended to safeguard city parks for the enjoyment of all:
- Pavilions and surrounding event site areas are to be returned to the “as was” condition
- No mechanical rides, water slides, or any form of activity that involves the use of continuous running water
- Refuse is to be deposited in trash receptacles. Trash bags and/or containers of trash are not to be left behind on the ground or tabletops. Please do not leave any bags or containers of trash anywhere in the park
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted (except in Gilchrist Park Playground), however no glass containers are permitted
- No firecrackers, torpedoes, rockets, or other fireworks or explosives of flammable material on park property
- No bounce houses or other inflatable play equipment is allowed
- No additional tables or chairs allowed in Gilchrist Park Playground
The rules noted below are specific to the Playground Pavilion (all above Rules and Regulations still apply)
- No Alcohol or Glass containers are allowed
- No additional tables, chairs, or other items are permitted in the playground area
- All activities shall be contained within the pavilion boundary area that has been rented
- The playground WILL remain open to the public at all times
SPECIAL EVENTS - If your event includes fund-raising, is open to the public, has an admission fee, or involves selling (food, services or wares), your event will be classified as a Special Event and require additional permitting requirements.
