Thank you for visiting the Punta Gorda Police Department website.  As Chief of Police, I am honored to serve the citizens of the City of Punta Gorda alongside the dedicated men and women of the Punta Gorda Police Department. Our city is truly a beautiful place to live, work, and visit.  We have an incredibly talented group of sworn officers, professional staff, and volunteers.  Their commitment to providing the highest level of community policing has allowed Punta Gorda to be recognized as one of the safest cities in Florida. 

The Punta Gorda Police Department is thankful to share a collaborative partnership with our community.  We strive to earn and keep your trust by practicing procedural justice with fair and impartial policing.  We recognize the ever-changing role of law enforcement in our community and work hard to meet the needs of those we serve.  We firmly believe in our Organizational Values:  Integrity, Excellence, Fairness and Impartiality, Respect, and Teamwork.  It is these values which guide us in our service to our community.
