Recycling Guidelines for The City of Punta Gorda

Please put only the following materials into the recycling collection container:

• Newspapers, magazines, office paper (no shredded paper), brown paper bags, paperboard cartons, dairy and juice containers, junk mail, phone books, flattened cardboard, plastic bottles, plastic containers number 1-7, glass bottles and jars, aluminum cans, and tin or steel cans.
• NO PLASTIC BAGS. Also, do not put the following materials into the recycling carts: liquids, food, waste, fabric, wood, hoses, cords and styrofoam.
