The City of Punta Gorda offers its employees and retirees three (3) health insurance options from which to choose.  All of the City's plans are administered by Florida Blue (previously known as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida). 

The City pays 100% of the monthly premium on behalf of the employee and 50% of the monthly premium for dependent coverage.
