Project Update:

As of 08/10/2021

• The design plans are currently at 100% check list pending comment review.  The design plans are anticipated to complete by April, however, will be subject to permitting agency approvals. Staff and the design firm are in communication with the various funding agencies. Bi-Weekly project progress meetings continue to keep the project design tracking in preparation of construction this fiscal year.

  The Governor also approved the Boca Grande Water Quality Improvement project for a $1 million local waters fixed capital outlay grant aiding – water project from general fund revenue funds. The estimated construction cost is approximately $5.3M.
