For information (941) 637-8326.TEAM Punta Gorda’s annual meeting is scheduled Jan. 29, 2019, at the PGI Civic Association, 2001 Shreve St., Punta Gorda. The theme – Economic Development is a Team Sport – will feature a riveting presentation on the City’s economic future by two experts:  Lucienne Pears, outgoing director of the Charlotte County Economic Development Office, and Dave Gammon, the office’s business recruitment supervisor who will serve as interim director.  Pears has been named vice president of Economic and Business Development at Babcock Ranch. The meeting, which will include a brief look at TEAM’s many accomplishments in 2018, will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  Doors will open at 6 p.m.  Attendance is strictly limited to 225 persons.
