COMMITTEE MEETING

RE:  SOLICITATION #U2016104/ENG-LIBRARY/1718 

The City of Punta Gorda’s Evaluation and Selection Committee for the above reference solicitation will be meeting on March 27, 2018 at 9:00  to discuss scoring process in RFQ vs. Consultant pass or fail.  Since this is not a “ranking” solicitation and the goal is to determine if a Consultant is qualified for the library, the process of scoring 0-5 may not be of value when the goal is to determine if the Consultant is qualified for the library and requested disciplines.  This meeting is for the ESC to determine the best methodology to qualify consultants.    The meeting will be held in the , 126 Harvey Street Punta Gorda, Florida.

Public comment will be allowed (3 minute limit) during the public meeting.  Discussion with City staff will not be allowed.  Space is limited but any interested party may attend the meeting via webinar.  The link to the webinar is https://puntagorda.webex.com/puntagorda/j.php?MTID=md62f76fe830f4095f8a7b68d0058bab2.   Results will be posted the next day.

FORMAL AWARD is defined as the issuance of a NOTICE OF AWARD document or the issuance of a PURCHASE ORDER to the awarded bidder. Any such contact prior to the formal award shall be cause for rejection of your submittal.
