CITY OF PUNTA GORDA
PARK & RECREATION MASTER PLAN
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
VOICE YOUR OPINION! The City of Punta Gorda will be conducting a public input meeting on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 9:00AM in City Council Chambers, 326 W Marion Ave., Punta Gorda, to obtain the comments and views of the Citizens, Public Agencies, Community Organizations, and other interested parties of Punta Gorda on the updates to the Park and Recreation Master Plan.
The master plan is a key implementation strategy within the city’s primary planning document, the City of Punta Gorda Comprehensive Plan, 2040, and is intended to help the City respond to three important questions:
- What do we do?
- For whom do we do it?
- How do we excel?
The primary focus is on the short-term strategies that will build success over the long-term. The master plan also focuses on high-level initiatives rather than more specific and detailed actions.
