Water Distribution

The Water Distribution Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the approximately 237 miles of water main piping, serving an area of over 38 square miles. In addition, the Division maintains 2,100 main valves, 1,777 fire hydrants, and 12,000 water meters. Daily operations include; new meter installations, fire hydrant maintenance, the Cross Connection Control program, and the Valve Exercise program. The department also operates a 24 hour on call service, so any afterhour water emergencies can be handled quickly and efficiently on nights, weekends and holidays. Please call 941-575-5070.
