Engineering

Engineering is a service-oriented division that provides technical support and services to City departments, issues canal construction special permits, performs surveys and grade shots for City projects, project management and inspection duties on Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), and department projects. The Engineering Division is also the point of contact for information relating to the NPDES Stormwater Permit.

Aqui Esta Project Update

Charlotte County is managing the contracts for the Aqui Esta Road construction joint project for the Florida Department of Transportation and City of Punta Gorda. Charlotte County has contracted Reynolds, Smith & Hill (RS&H) to be the primary consultant to provide information to the public and oversee construction.
