Procurement - Disaster Assistance

The City of Punta Gorda has set up a Disaster Assistance Program in the event of an emergency which would require outside assistance. It is estimated that this emergency assistance may be required for up to eight (8) weeks or until regular contracting procedures could be followed. In the event your services would be required, response time is very critical. This outside support would be required in less than twelve (12) hours after notification.

If your company or firm would like to be included in the City of Punta Gorda's Disaster Assistance Program, click here to obtain the necessary documents* and follow the directions below for completing the document.

Please check the appropriate classification(s) that your company/firm can supply. These supplies or services shall be directly owned and provided by your company. Subcontractors available to your company/firm shall not be included.

Companies/Firms shall state if they are currently under contract to provide emergency assistance to other agencies.

Additional information (i.e.: quantity, size, capacity, personnel available, stock levels, rooms available, current price schedules and copies of all licenses) may be listed on your company letterhead and submitted with your completed form. Return the completed form and additional information via fax, mail or pgpurch@ci.punta-gorda.fl.us to the City's Procurement Division.
